Catherine was born in Alamosa, Colorado, and spent half of her childhood in a nearby small town of about 4,000 people. After finishing high school in Colorado Springs, she decided to pursue a sociology degree and is planning on completing her bachelor’s degree in May of 2021. While she originally wanted a career as a child guidance counselor, Catherine has developed a strong interest in family law and hopes to further her education by attending law school. Since her first job at the age of 14, Catherine has been dedicated to helping others. Her background in many different types of customer service jobs has contributed to her skills in communication and de-escalating emotional situations.
Catherine takes pride in being the oldest sibling of her three half siblings and step-sister. She is seven years older than her first two siblings, and 10 and 17 years older than the youngest two. This age gap plays a huge part in her role as a big sister. It was the blending of her family that sparked her interest in family law and showed her the intensity of the field. There is nothing that Catherine would enjoy more than continuing to assist children and families.
In her free time, when she isn’t doing homework, Catherine enjoys reading, watching Netflix, doing yoga, hiking with her German Shepard and Rottweiler, and cuddling with her hedgehog! After leaving retail to join the legal field, Catherine is a recovering shopaholic, and hopes to replace the time she spent shopping with more outdoor activities.
