Nic is a Colorado Springs native who attended District 11 schools. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with a major in Geography and Environmental Studies. Afterwards, he attended the University of Colorado School of Law, where he avidly participated in programs focused on courtroom skills, such as mock trial and moot court. While in law school, he interned with federal magistrate Judge Kristen L. Mix, the United States Attorney’s Office, and the Colorado 20th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. He was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2017.
After graduating from law school, Nic began his legal career at the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Alamosa, Colorado. He gained useful negotiating and trial experience and conducted over a dozen jury trials. He also gained experience with juvenile justice cases and appellate work. During his experience in criminal law, Nic gained a special connection to working with victims of domestic violence and abuse.
Nic moved back to Colorado Springs and joined the Law Offices of Greg Quimby in 2020. He is a child of divorce and subsequent family blending, and hopes to be able to take personal experience, combined with empathy, to provide excellent legal service to individuals and families undergoing deep, emotional hardships.
