This statute is titled "My Little Girl". I have always felt honored that my daughter has counted me as one of her best friends. I have certainly felt the same. I had this statute made to memorialize that special bond. I also hope this encourages that type of bond between all parents and all kids. Her kids always say "that's my mommy" and I always respond "yes, but she's My Little Girl". Kids are forever. My dad still gives me his opinion on whether I'm doing the right thing.
